BBL Photofacial

Hyperpigmentation, visible facial veins and uneven skin tone can take away from your complexion and make you appear older than you really are. A BBL photofacial uses BroadBand Light to treat skin conditions using a wide range of wavelengths, revealing a more even, glowing and healthy complexion.*

Pacifica Medical Spa Camarillo offers photofacial treatments for men and women interested in correcting sun damage and spots. Our Aesthetic Nurses are highly trained at using dual lamp technology for skin therapy and rejuvenation, helping you look your best without downtime.

What Is a BBL Photofacial?

A BBL photofacial is a treatment that uses various wavelengths of broadband light to treat skin conditions like hyperpigmentation, vascular lesions, freckles, sun spots, age spots, rosacea and more. The treatments works by applying light therapy to the skin, which is absorbed by pigment. The pigment should then gradually fade, leaving your skin more evenly toned.*

Your BBL Photofacial Consultation

Prior to your BBL photofacial, you’ll have a private consultation with one of our Aesthetic Nurses. During your consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your cosmetic goals and learn more about what to expect from your photofacial. Most people have photofacial treatments applied to their face, neck or décolletage, but the treatment can also be applied to the shoulders, arms, backs of the hands and other areas of the body.*

Your Aesthetic Nurse will also help you develop a customized plan for addressing any additional cosmetic concerns you may have. Many people combined photofacials with resurfacing treatments like Halo™ Hybrid Fractional Laser Resurfacing. We also offer IPL photofacials at our Studio City location.

Your BBL Photofacial Treatment

Before beginning your BBL photofacial, your Aesthetic Nurse will cover your eyes with a protective covering. Then, the BBL handpiece will be gently passed over your skin. The handpiece will emit pulsed light at different wavelengths, which can be easily adjusted to address your specific needs. You may feel a light tingling sensation, but the procedure should not be uncomfortable. The entire procedure can be as quick as 20 to 30 minutes long.*

Recovery & Results

One of the greatest advantages of the BBL photofacial is that virtually no downtime is required. Your skin may appear slightly pink for a few days, but this should fade quickly and many people experience no side effects at all.*

Your results should gradually develop over the following several days and weeks. You should start to notice your skin developing a clearer, brighter tone. Sun spots, freckles and vascular lesions may fade away, and even rosacea and scarring may start to diminish. Most people have a BBL treatment every 3 months as part of a routine beauty regimen.
