Aging, hormonal imbalances, having a baby or going through menopause can all affect the health and function of your vaginal tissue, causing vaginal laxity or dryness. Sciton’s diVa® laser vaginal therapy rejuvenates the vaginal tissue to stimulate the production of collagen and new tissue to help thicken the vaginal walls and treat other issues caused by atrophy, such as itching or dryness.*
Pacifica Medical Spa Camarillo offers diVa fractional laser vaginal therapy using a hybrid laser that penetrates your skin at different depths. Our Aesthetic Nurses are highly experienced in rejuvenating the skin using laser energy, allowing for safe and effective nonsurgical treatments.

What Is diVa Laser Vaginal Therapy?
The diVa treatment uses hybrid fractional laser technology to combine two therapies for more comprehensive rejuvenation that can be customized to fit each woman’s needs. One laser heats the deeper layers of tissue to encourage collagen production. The other laser resurfaces the vaginal wall to produce new layers of tissue. When performed as a single treatment, diVa laser vaginal therapy can tighten and thicken the vaginal walls to alleviate discomfort.*
Your diVa Laser Vaginal Therapy Consultation
Before your laser vaginal therapy, you’ll have a private consultation with one of our Aesthetic Nurses. During your consultation, you’ll have a chance to talk about your concerns and hopes for treatment and learn about how diVa laser vaginal therapy may be right for you. Your Aesthetic Nurse can also talk with you about your expected results and answer any questions about your treatment. Your Aesthetic Nurse can also recommend additional laser treatment options to address other cosmetic concerns you may have.
Your diVa Laser Vaginal Therapy Treatment
Your diVa laser vaginal therapy treatment should only take about 3 to 5 minutes. You may feel a slight pressure against the walls of your vagina and possibility some sensitivity at the opening of the vagina. A topical anesthetic can be applied for your comfort, though most women are comfortable without an anesthetic. During your treatment, a single-use applicator is rotated through the vaginal canal as the laser delivers different pulses to reach different layers of tissue.
Recovery & Results
You can get back to your normal routine right after your diVa laser vaginal therapy appointment, although you should abstain from sexual intercourse for 48 hours after your treatment. You should have little to no spotting, discomfort or discharge. Because laser vaginal therapy stimulates collagen production, your results should develop over the next several weeks as your tissue regenerates. Many women notice a change after their first treatment with continued improvement after each treatment.*
Your Aesthetic Nurse may recommend that you have an initial course of 1 to 3 diVa laser treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, followed by an annual maintenance treatment once a year.
