Halo™ Hybrid Fractional Laser Resurfacing

Halo™ Hybrid Fractional Laser Resurfacing

Laser skin resurfacing can improve a number of common skin conditions, including blemishes, scarring, wrinkles, sun damage and more. By stimulating collagen production from deep within the dermis using a hybrid fractional laser, Halo laser resurfacing treatments can help you rediscover a youthful, glowing complexion.

Pacifica Medical Spa Camarillo offers Halo hybrid fractional laser resurfacing treatments using a laser that penetrates your skin at different depths. Our Aesthetic Nurses are highly experienced in rejuvenating the skin using laser energy, allowing for safe and effective nonsurgical treatments.

What Is Fractional Laser Resurfacing?

The Halo hybrid fractional laser uses a variety of wavelengths that penetrate the dermis at various depths. This allows for optimal rejuvenation, as the laser can stimulate healing both deep within the skin as well as closer to the surface, helping to treat superficial concerns and long-lasting skin problems.

Your Hybrid Fractional Laser Resurfacing Consultation

Before your hybrid fractional laser resurfacing treatment, you’ll have a consultation with one of our Aesthetic Nurses. During your consultation, you can discuss your reasons for pursuing skin resurfacing and learn more about what to expect from the treatment. While laser skin resurfacing treatments are most commonly applied to the face, you can also have resurfacing treatments on your décolletage, backs of the hands and other areas.

Your Aesthetic Nurse will also evaluate your needs and recommend any additional treatments that might help you reach your cosmetic goals. We also offer ProFractional laser resurfacing treatments for those interested in a more intensive rejuvenation. Our Studio City location offers additional laser treatments as well.

Your Hybrid Fractional Laser Resurfacing Treatment

Before beginning your laser treatment, you will be given a topical anesthetic to apply the treatment area. Once you are numb, you can begin your resurfacing treatment. During your fractional laser procedure, the Halo handpiece will be gently rolled over your skin, emitting laser energy at different depths. While one laser gently heats the surface of your skin, the other will penetrate the dermis and stimulate healing in the deeper layers.

Recovery & Results

The treated area will likely appear slightly red and puffy for the first 24 hours after your treatment. Within the following couple of days, you may notice your skin beginning to develop brown spots and become rough.

The brown spots will eventually slough off around the 1-week mark, and by week 2 or 3 following your treatment, you should be able to notice a more even skin tone with best results developing 3 months post-treatment as your skin regenerates. Most people choose to maintain their Halo results with a BBL photofacial treatment every 3 months.*
