Halo™ Hybrid Fractional Laser Resurfacing

Halo™ Hybrid Fractional Laser Resurfacing

Modern laser technology can improve the look and feel of your skin in many ways. Laser skin resurfacing can help fade discoloration, blemishes, scars, wrinkles, large pores, fine lines, sun damage and other skin conditions. Halo™ hybrid fractional laser resurfacing treatments stimulate collagen production in the dermis to correct these and other complexion imperfections.*

Our Studio City medical spa offers a variety of rejuvenating treatments for the face and body. Our Aesthetic Nurses will help you understand your options for laser resurfacing and map out a plan that fits your needs.

How Does Hybrid Fractional Laser Resurfacing Work?

Using various wavelengths, the Halo hybrid fractional laser sends beams of light into the dermis at various depths to stimulate collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin as well as closer to the surface. This technology allows the Halo hybrid fractional laser to treat superficial concerns along with long-lasting skin problems for optimal rejuvenation.*

Before Your Hybrid Fractional Laser Resurfacing Treatment

You’ll have a consultation with one of our Aesthetic Nurses before your hybrid fractional laser resurfacing treatment. Your Aesthetic Nurse will talk with you about your reasons for considering laser skin resurfacing and explain the type of results you may be able to expect from your treatment. Laser skin resurfacing is typically performed on the face but you can have treatments in other areas, including the back of your hands and your décolletage.*

Your Aesthetic Nurse will also examine your skin and listen to your hopes for having laser skin resurfacing. To help you reach your goals, your nurse may recommend other cosmetic treatments or skincare services. We also offer a complete range of different laser treatments to address a variety of concerns.

Your Hybrid Fractional Laser Resurfacing Procedure

Before starting your laser skin resurfacing treatment, your Aesthetic Nurse will apply a topical anesthetic to the treatment area for your comfort and wait until your skin is numb. Once your procedure begins, the Halo fractional laser handpiece will be passed over your skin, delivering laser energy into your skin at different depths. Working in tandem, one laser penetrates the dermis to stimulate healing deep within your skin while the other laser gently heats the skin’s surface layers.*

Your Recovery & Results

Your skin may appear puffy and slightly red for the first 24 hours after your Halo treatment. Your skin may develop brown spots and feel rough within a few days. The brown spots should flake away about a week after your treatment. You should notice a more even skin tone within 2 to 3 weeks, with results continuing to develop over 3 months as your skin cells rejuvenate.*
